This lateral fire-resistant rolling shutter boasts a fire resistance limit exceeding 240 minutes. Constructed with aluzinc steel sheets and fire-resistant rock wool, it delivers stable fireproof performance. Complying with both Chinese national standards and European standards for fire separation, it is ideal for fire compartmentation in large-span spaces.
Ordinary fire-resistant rolling shutters open and close vertically, while lateral types slide horizontally from side to side without occupying vertical overhead space. They are particularly suitable for sites where vertical shutters cannot be installed, such as buildings with insufficient floor height, pipelines mounted at the ceiling, and large-span atriums.
Customized large spans are available with extra-long single span sizes. It is ideal for fire separation in spacious areas such as shopping mall atriums, underground parking lots, large factories, logistics warehouses and areas around escalators.
Equipped with standard fire-resistant motor, it supports control via manual push buttons and fire linkage system. Optional temperature release devices as well as smoke & heat detectors can be fitted to automatically close the shutter in case of fire. Manual operation is available during power outages to meet fire inspection acceptance standards.
